exceeded both our expectations - which were not high. obviously we are philistines, but also prey to bad museum foot (not to mention exhibition leg). Anyhoo, we had a great time and i'm about to post a few dozen pics of stuff we liked.
we had a bit of a picnic in the Tuileries afterwards, before heading to jeu de paume - which was shut until next week (curses) - before heading along les champs élysées to that big square thing with the hole in it - l'arc de triomphe.
then it was more gorgeous little pastries at Diamande - just down the road from our fabulous hotel - (pics to follow also) and home for a rest before dinner.
Sadly it will be our last dinner in Paris; on the other hand, only one more sleep til Turkey :)
