big thanks for looking after my bro - everything went well, they had a good catch up with Mike - altho apparently they touched my bbq - other than that a perfect weekend...toured the sites of the Capital, Logan Brown for dinner, 40B Halladale for breakfast.
While I have the blog at my disposalI should mention that yesterday I spoke a considerable amount of french to Sarah and she with all her study of the language could not understand a word I was saying-amazinig. Mind you when I tried it out on the locals they also looked both confused and bemused, responding immediately in english. Oh well you give it your best shot. Off for breakfast now, or petit de jeuner as I say. Ka kite ano (so hard being multi lingual)
I had a similar experience in Paris. Order a glass of beer en Francis and they bring you a huge jug of it. You'd think they'd be able to speak their own language better!
