Sarah jumping in (the jumping girl). Water was great, clear as a clear thing and not too cold. The second snap is at the beach while our BBQ lunch was being cooked. It was challenging but I managed to leave them to it without so much as a word of advice
Lovely photos. Am in a state of deep, deep envy over the swimming and the trained wild life viewing, not to mention the excitingly strata-ed rocks. Sigh. Crispy white frost here this morning. At least I start late today and didn't have to leave in the dark. Am in awe of your restraint, G. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteIndeed I am also envious. I am of course in Wairoa where the temp this am was a crisp 1 I suspect (I may be being generous) and then we coudln't find how to work the heater in the room we're in so we were just a tad cold all day.
ReplyDeleteHowever a hot pastie from (Wairoa) famous Osler's at lunch time did the trick...ready for a wine in 15 mins and then dinner I guess. The choices are possibly not as good as yours - fich and chips, chinese takeaways, the motel restaurant (went there last night and it was very average) or the local club to which none of us belong of course,...I think the chinese is winning simply because we are all too lazy to cook for ourselves!
Ho hum...three to go...
