Ok, so we toodled past about 30 of these new right-ists. We almost didn't notice them except for their uniform black eagle t-shirts and buzz cuts. I reached for my gun, loaded with doves and butterflies, but it had been confiscated at Musee l'orangeries. We had to compromise by crossing the road and muttering.
Notwithstanding the minority neo nazi trash, Paris is amazing. It's the most impressive city I've seen... Total awe and wonder.
It is big, beautiful, uncompromising and strangely friendly. We like it.
We started the day - late - with some pastries and headed for Montmartre and Sacre coeur. Amazeballs. The Catholics might be broken, but they can build a church. It was something else...
When I grow up maybe I'll live here... Maybe geoff will too.
Meanwhile we are drinking vin rouge at a tapas bar on rue st Gilles and have just watched Man City beat QPR and, we think, take out the premiership. In any case there were great rejoicings.
Maybe we will return for dinner. We are a wee bit pissed... We will definitely have dinner somewhere.

Paris is on a grand scale and you have captured it well. Great to see Geoff smiling. Anything to do with you Sarah?
